2. Back Story
Gina was born in England seven years ago. She lives with her Mom and Dad, Rachel and Carl. Gina has always been an extremely active little girl, form tearing around doth house playing with her imaginary friend to playing queen of the castle with real life friends. When Gina was two her parents decided to get a dog in an effort to have someone or something that could keep up with her energy, but this just made the energy level double in the house. Her parents thought they would let her name the new dog and being only two years old named it Crayon.
As rambunctious, outgoing, and fun as Gina was, she did have one fear… THE DARK! Gina couldn't stand the dark, this made  her into a different person. On a normal sunny day, Gina was her regular self who loved to play, dance, sing, and talk her head off. During the night though, fear struck her heart like an arrow. Its not exactly the dark that scared her, but more so her thoughts of what might be lurking in it. Her mind was always running wild with imaginary story ideas filled with characters and this creative energy didn't stop when the sun went down, it only changed settings from happy story to scary story. The only thing that combatted her seven year old mind against the dark was her fire truck night light.
Now, Gina wasn't what you'd exactly call a mommy’s girl or daddy’s girl, she was just the kind of child who craved attention and since she lives with her parents thats who she wanted attention from the most, when she was at school it was her teachers, her friends when she was having a playdate, and even the dentist at her check ups. Being an attention seeker meant she would do almost anything to get a rise out of someone, crying, screaming, laughing, “turning evil”, popping balloons, and death defying stunts!

3. Character Narrative
It was a warm day for storming the castle, a little too warm. The castle stood on the great land of Silicon Boulevard, where many a great battle have taken place. It was grand looking castle with wooden shutters, a giant red door, one tower, and even a welcome mat. This castle was ruled by the ruthless Parients(parents)kingdom, who felt the need to tell every knight what to do and when to do it. This did not please one knight, especially when being told she needed to go to her quarters for rest(nap time).
The brave little knight decided to take the castle head on and rule it for herself, the only problem, it was locked. Now the knight usually had a key, but that privilege was revoked when the knight was seen sneaking royal cookies behind the king and queens backs that day. Now the knight weighed her options, she could either try her best at opening a window(all locked), calling for her neighbors spare key(she wasn't home), or scale the terrace to the towers balcony(there was no terrace or tower). After realizing these were not very likable options the knight thought long and hard but could come up with nothing.
The knight just wanted to be let back inside the castle(house), after all this was like her home. She trotted outside the castle on her horse(wagon) for hours(fifteen minutes). The sun was blazing down on her, the thick steel armor(teeshirt and jeans) she wore didn't help. Her horse was growing tired from heat exhaustion and couldn't carry on much longer. The castle held the key to her longing for comfort… air conditioning! She could almost feel the cool air flow across her face, relaxing on the royal couch in front of the royal tv, sucking on a popsicle. That was it, she couldn't take it anymore, she needed to be in that castle. All the tension was building up inside her and needed to be let out and here it came! The brave little knight did the only thing left to do, she cried. She cried and cried and cried. This finally got the attention of the heartfelt king and queen and let her in.
“I thought she was in her room?” said Dad(king). “I thought so too”, replied Mom(queen). They had over looked when they put Gina in time out that she took her time out outside. Seeing that they had made this error, Gina’s parents decided to let her off the hook and enjoy the comfort of the cool house with a popsicle in front of the tv.

2. Back Story
Little Joey was born into this world only seven years ago and ever since then it has just been his mother and him. As soon as he could crawl, joey was on the go to anywhere he could get to, like an open cupboard, under a table, through the doggy door, and up and down the stairs just for fun. This constant need for movement is in due partly to his extremely active imagination. When joey could start walking and talking that’s when things got even more adventurous in his mind whether he was playing in the sandbox or just going for a ride in the car.
When grandma and grandpa visit those are some of the best times because they bring toys and love to play Joey’s favorite game, Chutes and Ladders. Grandpa taught him how do things like chop the wood when nights got cold and there needed to be a log put in the fire place, how to put gas in the car, and play baseball. Grandma was there to show Joey how to cook meals, care for the dog, and teach him how to draw. They were like a second set of parents to him, besides his Mom.
After a long week at kindergarten, the last thing Joey wants to do is go to bed before the weekend gets here. He would do anything in his power to resist the bedtime routine of cleaning his dishes, taking a bath, brushing his teeth, and then going to bed. The most powerful thing he could do was use his tooth brush as his weapon of choice. His toothbrush could be come anything he wanted it to be from sword to fight off pirates to a microphone to entertain the cheering crowd he imagined in his bathroom mirror. This powerful imagination comes partly from his weekend routine of waking up early to watch Saturday morning cartoons. This is where most of his seven-year-old exposure to adventure came from because in a cartoon anything seemed possible and that really connected to Joey.

3. Character Narrative
RRRRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!!!
School was finally out and even though it was only third grade, nobody was happier than Joey Runsulot. Joey was one of those kids who kept his eye on the clock like a hawk keeps an eye out for prey. He was already on the edge of his seat when the bell rang, ready to jump up and grab his backpack. With backpack in hand he headed for the door, but only to be halted by a group of his friends talking about the new water park they all wanted to go to. They needed Joey to be part of their gang to beg their parents to ask them to go but Joey had no time, “Don’t you know what today is?” he said. His friends just staring back with blank expressions, Joey brushed passed them and ran for home, but seeing as home was down the block from his school the need for running was a little unnecessary.
Joey ran as hard as he could, his backpack hitting his back with every step. This however did not bother him because he had one thing on his mind, the new episode of Pokémon was on today and he couldn’t miss it. It was around 3:07pm and Joey’s Mom wouldn’t be home for about another hour, but luckily Joey was one of the few third graders who was a latchkey kid and could go home whenever he wanted and indulge in some milk and cookies while watching some TV before Mom got home and made him do his homework. While in mid stride Joey reached into his back pocket for his key to his house, ready to open the door, and kick off his shoes, but… there was no key! In a panic Joey checked his other pockets, not there. He checked every square inch of his backpack, not there either.  He even went as far as to check under every surface in his front yard thinking his Mom may have hidden a spare somewhere, but still nothing. With the clock now reaching 3:20 and the show starting at 3:30, Joey was really in a panic. “why me?” he cried out to himself  falling to his knees as his elderly neighbor walked by with her Chihuahua looking confused.
3:23. Joey is in denial, “No. No. No. This isn’t happening!”
3:24. Joey feels pain and guilt, “This is my fault, I let this happen”
3:25. Joey starts to bargain, “had I just checked before I left, I’d be okay”
3:26.  Joey feels all alone, “oh gosh I’m all alone!”
3:27. Joey feels the upward turn, “this just happened, buts alright”
3:28. Joey starts reconstruction, “you know what? I can watch it as a rerun”
3:29. Joey starts accepting, “I forgot my key and that’s all there is to it”
Sprawled out on his front door step recovering from this traumatic event, the door suddenly opens. His Mom looks down at him and says, “ I thought I heard somebody out here”. A look of overwhelming joy sweeps across Joey’s face as he asked, “h-h-how are you home right now”? “I got off work a little early and was going to pick you from school but when I got there they said you had already left so I drove back here and waited for you”. Tears streaming down his face he hugged his Mom and ran to the television. Luckily the opening credits were still going, he hadn’t missed it yet.
